ISLAMABAD: The security forces and two local Lashkars have killed 21 terrorists, during the last 24 hours, in different areas of Malakand division, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a news release on Monday.Those terrorists killed are also included two of their commanders identified as Chamto Afghani and Ghulam Khaliq besides IED making experts Salim and Sherzada, it said.On a tip off from the civilian residents of the area, the security forces carried out a cordon and search operation, and killed three terrorists in Charbagh, Swat.Troops carried out search operation in Bara Banda, Shahdhand Banda and successfully established link at Damber Sar. During exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed. The security forces have also established link at Shakardara.A local Lashkar set ablaze 13 houses of terrorists and killed three terrorists at village Dhok Darra in retaliation to suicide attack in a mosque last Friday.The Lashkar also encircled terrorists' villages of Shatkas and Mena in Upper Dir and killed other 11 terrorists including their Commander Chamto Afghani.During an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists at Ambela, terrorists' Commander Ghulam Khaliq and IED experts Salim and Sherzada were killed.
